Alarm Clocks Are there any watches or alarm clocks that can be set to go off in 6months time and every week after that?
Are there any watches or alarm clocks that can be set to go off in 6months time and every week after that, just by one initial setting? Needs to be cheap too. Practical joke on my brother, i owe him one... want to hide clock in his room, leave it to do its job!
You could buy him a smoke detector and put a used battery in it.
When the battery runs out it will start to chirp. Very annoying and almost impossible to locate--if you can find a good hiding place.

We might have neither bathroom, toilet nor modern heating, but we do have broadband internet, WLAN, VoIP, and I have a mobile phone with a proper phone number. She has a mobile phone too. But as mobile phones are annoying, they only serve as very loud alarm clocks. I think a haircut is unlikely. She might only be very delayed if someone decides to nick the S-Bahn's electricity cables again.
PM: Your tsunami metaphor is apt. But – arguing from what my students might say – I’ll find out about the tsunami on a social networking site such as Facebook and see Twitpics from people who live one thousand miles away even before the media know it.
It takes me a minimum of 2 hrs to fall asleep every (good) day, I have 3 alarm clocks and 2 phone alarms and it's always a struggle to wake up. What's more, I hate the gym (except for yoga), too self-conscious. So I got an elliptical machine at home. It was relatively cheap, compared to a gym membership, and I'm on it while I watch tv… maybe that will work for you, if you can push yourself at home? Whatever you do, I hope you'll hang in there…
Hi, JT here. I recently received a Projection Alarm Clock as a gift and thought that it was just the coolest thing ever. I've started giving them to friends and thought I'd do a little research and put a site together about Projection Clocks and Atomic Clocks. I hope you enjoy!

***I'VE NEVER HEARD OF IT, BUT IT SOUNDS REALLY INTERESTING.***
Where the heck do you live, that HVDC lines outnumber AC lines and your alarm clocks make coffee?
OMG! I so sympathize with you. I just had the exact same problem not too long ago. I'm sorry i can't help you any more 8-P
I love waking my girls up singing good morning songs. They are 12,14,16 and don’t set alarm clocks because they must love it too! Warms my heart.
