Master slave clocks for home use?
Are there any companies making master slave clocks suitable for domestic use?
Most options I saw online seems suitable for industrial use.
Master slave clock is the right option for me since atomic clocks won't work where I live. This way I can set the time at one place and be sure that the right time will be displayed everywhere.
An alternative approach is to use clocks that plug into your AC power line and use a synchronous motor to drive analog hands, or to find a digital clock that specifically counts line cycles on the AC power. Then your clocks will be as accurate as your power company's line frequency, which over the long term (like a month) is very accurate because many power companies keep the long-term frequency corrected to an atomic time source.
Analog clocks during the 1960's generally did not drift, which is in stark contrast to today's battery-powered clock movements that run from a quartz crystal. These crystal oscillator typically are good to 1-4 minutes per month. (See reference 3).
