Clock Thermometer Out of these items, which are an analog device and which are digital devices?
1. On/Off Switch
2. Potentiometer
3. Classroom Clock
4. The timer on a microwave oven
5. Mercury thermometer
6. A phototransister
7. A photocell
8. Lock on a car door
9. Character on a keyboard
10. Wattmeter at your house
Something digital has distinct (i.e., discrete) states. An on/off switch has 2 distinct states and is therefore digital. Something analog has an infinite number of states. A mercury thermometer has an infinite number of states, as the mercury expands and contracts fluidly to tell the temperaure.

my temps are up could I be pregnant?
I need help here, Could my temps be rising cause I'm preggo or does it have something to do with the "Clomid"? okay I'm currently on 7dpo I take my temps same time each morning 8:30am I don't get up I turn to turn my alarm clock off & reach for my basal thermometer. so here are my temps. my temps have never reached more then 98.50 hope this is my month. I took a hpt this morning neg....yes I know it's to early. oh and I'm not sich and my boobs are not sore which is strange for me cause usually the day after ovulation I have sore boobs so that's strange. so please give me your thoughts.
1st dpo-97.71
2nd dpo-97.70
3rd dpo-98.20
4th dpo-98.33
5th day-98.09 could this be implantation dip?
6th day-98.41
7th dpo-98.64
Temps usually do rise between 1-10DPO when progesterone is at its peak. I would say your numbers look normal for post O activity. The dip on day 5 is too early to be considered an impant dip. Implant dips happen between 7-10DPO.
Not saying you're not pregnant, just saying it's too early in your chart to detect it. It's better as you get closer to 14DPO.
I love my little Brookstone travel alarm clock with digital clock, thermometer, calendar and snooze alarm. Its small, compact and folds up. The face lights up in the dark for 3 seconds when the top is pushed. I use it all the time now, not just for travel.
I was 19 or 20 and my grandma had gone out of town for a month, she asked my sister, who was 17, to house sit for her while she was gone. One night I got a call from her asking if I wanted to try it so I thought sure why not (I had tried once earlier to no avail.) My sister, my best friend, my girlfriend, and I all went down onto a lower level patio and smoked a joint or two. I didn’t feel anything and frankly thought it was a waste of time thinking that my mind was too strong to let go. Sorta like when you think about falling asleep you never can because you’re thinking about it. Well I’m sitting in this rocking chair staring at this clock/thermometer on the wall and I remember a friend telling me that I should close my eyes. So I did. And it was absolutely like a ton of bricks just fell on my from all directions. Gravity no longer existed. Sound was physically distressing. I starting laughing so uncontrollably that I flip the chair I was in and continued to laugh on the floor of this deck for about the next half hour. Man, those were some good times.
In our small Georgia town in the 1970s, we needed cable just to get the regular channels. It was a huge deal when we got what is now TBS–the first big superstation–so we could watch the Braves and old Andy Griffin reruns. The only other thing I remember about early cable was there was a channel where a clock, a thermometer, and a barometer were displayed.

About Me
Hi, JT here. I recently received a Projection Alarm Clock as a gift and thought that it was just the coolest thing ever. I've started giving them to friends and thought I'd do a little research and put a site together about Projection Clocks and Atomic Clocks. I hope you enjoy!
