Hardigree: 2010 I believe. Well I looked in the engine bay to make sure a motor was in there. By golly there is, but no indication whether 3 or 3.6 (I’m assuming 3L, although the 100,00mile 200hp 2.8L six in my 3600lb 1999 E39 528 feels stronger and much more willing, not to mention having a better put together interior, better riding susp, and smarter shifting with it’s (antiquated) GM 4 sp auto).Fine, so the CTS’s 300hp 3.6 option is a better engine and more adequately motivate this 4WD pig. Maybe the quattro system really does ruin the show, but why even offer the lame-ass 3L then? An intrinstically good car should still be ‘good’ with the weakest engine (see 4 cylinder 5 series BMWs or 116i’s sold in Europe). But even with the ZR1 engine though I can’t see really liking this car for anything other than raw acceleration.Other stupid things I’ve noticed since driving my clients to dinner tonight: – remote key fob is ridiculously huge, with the added bonus of feeling quite cheap – radio and gear display identical to a 1970′s LCD alarm clock- on the long drive today it took me a couple hours to get the seat in a position where my right thigh wouldn’t cramp- seat heater has 2 settings: off, or ass burn- steering wheel airbag cover a triumph of 1980′s plastic technology- dash materials: leatherique, nasty fake carbon fiber, faux aluminum, hard, sharp plastic column stalks

2AA's for the time/backup for when you change other batter, 1 9V for the alarm, or maybe the other way around.
