Should I blame either Mother Nature or CONGRESS for this?
This morning, all my clocks were running at a different time-setting! - Knowing that USA had set our clocks to STANDARD TIME (official time record to have started at 02:00 A.M. in each time zone) I was hoping for all my clocks to reset simultaneously. Each one setting themselves using sensors that set using the ATOMIC signals (I think mine set from the Denver, Co. station.)
With each of my clocks setting to a *random* time; my kitchen-time reads 06:00 and my living room clock reads 10:00 and my bedroom reads 02:00, which time is correct?
Should I blame Mother Nature for this anomaly or should WE blame Congress for authorizing this re-setting each 6 months?
I, too have a couple of those so-called atomic clocks. The ones with mechanical hands often exhibit odd behavior, such as being correct when I get up on the Sunday after a change, then going wonky sometime during the day. It sometimes takes a couple of days for them to get it straight, but they do.
Blame congress - especially for the _totally useless_ extensions of DST over the past several years.
