Maybe that is where your problem lies, Alpine amps are the cleanest available that is why they cost so much. The efficiency rating of the speakers tells you how loud it will play with minimum power an 84db sensitivity rating is not that good while 98db would be out standing…thats what you want to look for if you want your speakers to go louder with out adding more power.

I have a radio controlled alarm clock – accurate to the nth degree. So how com its ten minutes fast!
Distortion comes from your amplifier not your speakers, R|Rockford Fosgate are some of the cleanest sounding speakers available and Pioneers are good speakers too, your not going to get cleaner sound by just buying new speakers because there is nothing wrong with the ones you have now, what are the distortion levels on that Boss??? Maybe that is where your problem lies, Alpine amps are the cleanest available that is why they cost so much. The efficiency rating of the speakers tells you how loud it will play with minimum power an 84db sensitivity rating is not that good while 98db would be out standing…thats what you want to look for if you want your speakers to go louder with out adding more power.
Do people really play Rock Band under the bridge? And crowd come to watch that?
