   The world is full of 'unbelievers', a vast majority of six billion plus people do not believe the Bible. I am not pushing my religion, and I do not feel that most of the population on planet earth are condemned; as some protestants teach, I don't agree with them about all this hell bullshit. I am talking about bigoted HOSTILE HATERS that bash on Christians on YT, i.e. the anti-Christ kooks. That's different than ignorance and being deceived by false teachings. They know better!

   The temperature readings are from internal electronics. Most clocks like that will give internal temps; some have the added feature of external (usually wireless) sensors for outside temps.

   The "weather forecasts" are just based on the local barometric pressure and aren't particularly accurate. For instance, rising pressure = sunny, but that could also indicate a front moving through and some rain, or falling pressure = rain, but that could mean the front is passed and the skies are clearing.

   Umm — transmit? They are designed to receive the US atomic clock broadcasts on shortwave (5, 10, 15, and 20 MHz from Ft. Collins, CO or Hawaii) and interpret the signals to reprogram the clock to the correct time once a day (usually 1 to 4 AM local time).

   You may find that the one with weather also has a relative humidity sensor. If that would be useful where you live, then it might be a reason to choose it over the other.

   Now you’re saying that gobblement workers can defy the hands of time???=============================================I simply said that THEIR clock might not have been synced with the clock OCFA referenced when they made the call.And again I ask, what did I “lie” about? I offered a piece of speculation, nothing more. It’s called looking at ALL the possibilities instead of focusing on only what supports your personal bias. I never said they weren’t in the parking lot 4 minutes before the end of their shift. But even if you assume that was the case, would you prefer that they use an atomic clock, starting blocks and a referee when going off-shift? Or are there some other nits you’d like to pick?

   purchased #113 out of 150 end of august I like it much better than the all black one with black crock strap that i bought back in june, the light weight is more comfortable. I must say, that I set to atomic clock aprox 3 weeks ago, and I am very impressed that as of today it is exactly on the second, just amazing! and the luminescence is good from 10:30 pm to 5:30 am when I get up. I may want to sell my spring drive ananta #280 out of 300 for $5200.00 it 3 mon old also runs perfect. All in all these seiko watches are far better watches in the aspect of accurate time keeping as compared with my other watches, rolex sub blue face, my gmt master II, ulysse nardin 1846, patek, vacheron o.s. chronoswiss chrono date moonphase and a lot of others that i owen including a fairly new citizen signature eco-drive month day date leap-year hour & min repeater which runs about one second a week fast, I know you must think I am a nut, I’m just a watch-ahaloc, anyway this ananta is one watch I plan on keeping. Well keep ticking or in seiko ananta case keep on gliding!

   It's a bit silly really, because they set it at what, seven minutes?

   Seven minutes later, nothing happenned, so they must have been wrong. Yesterday they said it was five minutes or something and the world didn't end five minutes later!

   I do not think that there exists a physicist who would not be attracted as if by a magnet by valid data that would dispute the known laws of physics and/or show unexpected results. A demonstrated experiment of levitation for example would draw all physicists into delving deeply in the experiment and the error analysis.

   I remember when cold fusion broke out, how we all in my institute were absolutely mesmerized and read up on it and some solid state physicists tried to replicate it. For me, for example, the disillusionment came not from the repeat experiments but from the realization that the energy released was not of the order of magnitude of nuclear energy but of chemical energy: i.e. it was a property of the crystal releasing stored energy. And it was a disillusionment. I wanted it to be true as I think most physicists.

   What Leif and I are saying is that the experiments of Miller and Galaev do not have the full rigorous error propagation that is necessary for the claims made, and are noise within errors, in contrast to numerous new measurements of the lazer and atomic clock age. On top of that, SR is used and evident in all of current physics.

   It might be that at some level of significance an ether can be demonstrated, this has not been done by these experiments, and it will not be the ether that 19th century physics thought was necessary for the propagation of electromagnetic waves.

   Hasn't the cell phone officially replaced the watch and the calendar and even the atomic clock at this point? It now commands the universe.

   I've always felt people never checked their watch to see what time it is anyways. They look to see what time it is NOT. For example, if I have a 2:00 meeting, I am looking at the watch to make sure it is not yet 2:00, but never do fully process what time it actually is.

   Test this. Next time you see someone look at their watch, ask them what time it is. Dollars to donuts, they will have to look at it again in order to answer.
