timex alarm clocks Help! Does anybody know of a good alarm clock to buy?
I had a timex extra loud alarm clock and it worked for 2 months.
I can't find a good, loud alarm clock.
It seems like the half of them are kind of mediocre junk,
and that it's sort of hit or miss with these items..
Which alarm clock would you recommend?
I like my Sony, because when you are setting the time or alarms you can run the numbers forward or backward. I saves having to go through 24 hours if you want to back up the alarm 30 minutes or move back one hour coming off daylight saving time. Hope this helps.

1996 Timex Indiglo Alarm Clock by SDI Technologies Inc. (aka Soundesign)
Where can I find this Timex watch?
I could look their entire collection, but I'm lazy. ">.>
I lost my watch a couple weeks ago and the few things I remember is that it was a Timex, showed both digital and and analog clock, on it's face. It also had components of a digital clock, like showed the date or had a timer when you pushed one of the side buttons. You could also set an alarm.
I found it on the bottom of a shallow lake, so assumingly, it was waterproof.
And it had a fast wrap with velcro. (I think that's what it's called).
Price isn't necessarily the problem, but if someone could tell me where I could buy another watch of the same kind, I'd be grateful!
Thanks!
Isn't there a Timex store? I'm not positive. Try a watch store in the mall )
To be honest I just leave the blinds open and that tends to wake my husband as the room becomes lighter. He can't sleep unless he's in pitch black darkness.
There are alarm clocks that wake you “naturally” with light (or so they claim) by simulating sunrise. The light increases in intensity gradually. I've no idea if they work, but here are some. The first has the sunrise feature and a radio, and flashing lights, and a beeper. Something for everyone!
S&J LOVE hotel rooms. Everything is new and fun. Spinny chairs, little shampoo bottles, drawers to open, novel potties, pamphlets, phones (just unplug it and it's the coolest toy ever), alarm clocks, and long hallways to explore.
They're not in beds yet, so we still ask for a crib/PNP for them. But I think when we transition to beds at home we'll have to start getting 2 beds in hotels and each share one with a kid, until they're old enough to share one themselves.
Bright lights help a lot (it has to do with your circadian rhythms). So if you’re living in a cave with your curtains tightly shut, then you’re doing it wrong. If you have a window, consider opening your blinds/curtains at night so the sunlight can come into your room when it’s morning. Also, you may find special alarm clocks intended for deaf people to be useful. They have louder-than-normal alarm sounds and often have a vibrating thing that you can put under your pillow.
This is such a beautiful piece!! I adore the soft colors and vintage music with that wonderful image. My husband and I are at odds over birdsong… he thinks our resident Cardinals sound too much like alarm clocks in the morning. I, on the other hand, can't imagine a sweeter, gentler way to be awakened in the morning. We have the same difference in opinion over the frogs that lull me to sleep at night, LOL!
About Me
Hi, JT here. I recently received a Projection Alarm Clock as a gift and thought that it was just the coolest thing ever. I've started giving them to friends and thought I'd do a little research and put a site together about Projection Clocks and Atomic Clocks. I hope you enjoy!
